Rooted in Hogansville, Georgia, Tilted Glass Adventures is dedicated to getting youth unplugged from technology and immersed in the great outdoors. Through camping, fishing, hunting, and hands-on life skills training, we create joyful, screen-free experiences that shape confident future leaders.
Our inspiration and roots
Tilted Glass Adventures was sparked by a truly great friend who organized an entirely free community fishing event for kids. Seeing the pure excitement and genuine community connection during that day inspired us to take that concept even further. Our name honors Tilted Glass Homestead, celebrating self-reliance, outdoor stewardship, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to explore nature free of cost.
Building confidence and leadership
When young people put down their digital devices and step out into the woods and waterways, something incredible happens. Beyond learning practical outdoor skills like pitching a tent or casting a line, children discover their own strength. We consistently witness participating kids develop greater self-reliance, communicative teamwork, and natural leadership abilities that translate directly back into their daily lives.
Our vision for the future
While our grassroots mission started right here in Hogansville, this is only the beginning. We are actively working toward becoming an official nonprofit organization. Our long-term dream is to expand our free events and leadership opportunities to youth throughout the entire state of Georgia and far beyond, ensuring financial barriers never keep a kid from experiencing the outdoors.
